Track Record
45 years of resident-led community development. Here is what that looks like in numbers, projects, and lives changed.

CHDC played a central role in advancing the $23 million Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) redevelopment of the former Hanover Park Apartments, helping transform deteriorating housing stock into quality affordable rental homes.
The project helped preserve affordable rental housing, supported resident stability, and demonstrated the important role community development corporations can play in large-scale affordable housing projects. The Riverfront Townhomes remain a cornerstone of Cherry Hill's affordable housing stock today.

Riverview Estates delivered 24 new affordable homeownership townhomes to Cherry Hill. For many residents, Riverview Estates represented a meaningful and accessible homeownership opportunity in a neighborhood where affordable homes for purchase had been scarce.
The project demonstrated CHDC's capacity to develop not just rental housing, but homeownership — expanding the range of housing options available to Cherry Hill families and strengthening long-term community stability and local investment.
